TIM alumnus, Clinton K. Inouye (’80), has established a scholarship in his name to support undergraduate TIM majors. Clinton enjoyed a 29-year career with Starwood/Sheraton/Kyo-ya Hotels as a hotel systems manager in the IT Department, where he was responsible for implementing several innovative technologies that improved the efficiency of Sheraton Hotels in Hawaiʻi and San Francisco.


Clinton has served on the TIM International, Inc.’s (TIMI) Board for 10 years and as Treasurer for 8 years. Clinton also volunteers as TIMI’s events photographer, and can be found, with his camera, at virtually every TIM event. He is a life member of the UH Alumni Association and recently received the first TIMI Alumni Distinguished Service Award.
