“Remarkable” describes Noel’s service to the School. During his tenure as General Manager at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, he consistently provided our students with internships, hired our graduates and mentored our alumni. Like many industry leaders, Noel has served on our Dean’s Advisory Board and has participated in many outstanding ways to facilitate tremendous support for the School. He has recently served as special advisor to the Dean in regards to industry outreach and was responsible for reinvigorating our Legacy fundraising event to the successful showcase that it is today with a focus on raising scholarship funds.

Noel’s service to the TIM School is impressive in and of itself, but when you factor in the additional service he has provided to our community at large, his impact is staggering. The Hawai‘i Foodbank, Waikīkī Community Center, Bishop Museum, the Culinary Institute of the Pacific, and Hawai‘i Industry Charity Walk are only a few of the organizations who have benefited from his service, passion and dedication. Professionally, his leadership in key industry organizations demonstrates the esteem his peers hold for him, having served as Chairperson of the Hawai‘i Hotel Association, Executive Committee for the O‘ahu Visitor’s Bureau and a Board Member for the Hawai‘i Visitors & Convention Bureau.

The TIM School would like to thank Noel for his outstanding service to the School. Our students, our industry and our community are fortunate to be able to count on the passion and support of Noel Trainor.
