Dear TIM student,
On behalf of the faculty and staff of the UH Mānoa TIM School, I welcome you to our TIM ‘ohana. We are looking forward to working with you through the next few years as you pursue your academic and professional goals.

Each element of the TIM curriculum provides an essential building block for a complete education which is relevant not only to the travel industry, but to virtually any service-related enterprise or occupation. The curriculum focuses on developing problem-solving and decision-making techniques and critical-thinking skills for successful managers and leaders.

I invite you take advantage of the many opportunities we have for TIM students outside of the classroom, including our internship program, annual Back to School Bash in September and our Netlinks industry networking event, just to name a few. Our seven student organizations provide especially valuable opportunities for site visits and interaction with industry professionals and fellow students. Our faculty and staff are available to you and I encourage you to seek their expertise and advice. I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,
Thomas Bingham
Interim Dean, School of Travel Industry Management
