TIM International, Inc. (TIMI), the Alumni Association for the graduates of the School of Travel Industry Management at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, was formed in 1968 under the guidance of Dean Emeritus Chuck Gee.
In March 1973, TIM International, Inc. received its charter of incorporation from the State of Hawaiʻi and became recognized as a non-profit corporation. The association has grown, along with the School of Travel Industry Management, with alumni located in many parts of the world. TIMI now has chapters in Hawaiʻi, Hong Kong, and Singapore, as well as active groups in many other countries.
The purpose of TIM International, Inc., is to actively support the mission of the School of Travel Industry Management through membership participation, image enhancement, financial commitment, and promotion of synergies among student, faculty, alumni, and friends.
