This presentation will examine how the travel industry’s distribution landscape changed dramatically during the pandemic. When several businesses, travel agencies and tour operators went out of business, travel industry leaders had to change their distribution strategy. No longer was exposure and opportunity enough to merit distribution; profit and return on investment became the guiding light, forcing travel leaders into profit optimization based strategies.
